We ordered 2 pizzas for take out and they were both delicious! One dill pickle pizza with half/half ranch and spicy apricot sauce (our fav), and a pep/chorizo and hot honey pizza. Both were very tasty! Full of toppings and a perfectly cooked wood oven crust! Very friendly staff and both indoor and outdoor seating - a perk for us traveling with our pup.
Where do I begin? My mouth is still watering from this amazing pizza so excuse me while I wipe the drool from my face . Okay I am ready now. PostOffice pizza in GRAND MANAN of all places is hands down the best pizza I have ever had. I have had pizza in many provinces across Canada and I have completely forgotten what any other pizza tastes like, after I had PostOffice Pizza. Now my expectations are so high for pizza that I will have to make more frequent trips to Grand Manan. As I was writing this review my husband called PostOffice Pizza to tell them how amazing their pizza is and it was the best we’ve ever had. I have never seen him call any other restaurant to praise them for their amazing food. We enjoyed The Bama and the Halifax donair pizza. These were amazing and I am especially fond of the Halifax donair pizza; this is what a dream donair pizza tastes like! The pizza’s were not greasy and plenty of good quality toppings; the dough is top notch! Looking forward to grabbing a pizza before we leave tomorrow. Thank you, Katherine and Dan PS: The meatball sub is amazing too ! I am completely stuffed and look forward to snacking on it later. Also excellent and friendly customer service, puts the extra love into the pizza and sub.
Most of the year, we have serious #FOMO from Ontario for Post Office Pizza leading up to our annual trip to Grand Manan. Once we arrive on the island, we are excited for every pizza dinner by the ocean. This New York-style pizza is so fantastic. Great care goes into the preparation of every single order. Not only is the pizza the best on the island, it’s some of the best we’ve ever had! And we love the 3-D printed gifts they make in-house and have for sale. This year, we’re looking forward to trying the new menu offerings like steak and meatball subs. Many thanks to Walter and his wife for the amazing service and hospitality!
We enjoyed the pizza. It was delicious and thought it was reasonably priced. The couple working there were so kind and nice to us. We also liked the fact that you can see it was a post office before. That little bit of history gives the place a unique feel!
Saw this little obscure attraction, a post office converted into pizzeria. After a long day jet setting around the island, we were famished. Within 20 mins, we had a 12 inch Hawaiian pizza in front of us. This pineapple was as fresh as if it came from the mid pacific ! Highly recommend this establishment !
Incredible spot to get pizza! I consider myself a bit of a pizza snob having worked at a pizza place for a couple of years when I was younger. The owners (husbandwife) who are originally from Boston were super friendly and knowledgeable. Sometimes pizza places can overload the toppings but this was a perfect in between to really let the sauce and dough do some of the talking. The house made sauce was incredible as well as the sourdough crust! The owners are obviously very passionate about their business and it shows. I don’t typically polish off an entire 12” pizza by myself but I couldn’t stop myself. Will definitely be back!
